Last Monday, June 1st, our associates were invited to participate in a training session through a webinar with the theme “Interpretation of the VDA questionnaire and check list 6.3:2016” which is based on the development of quality management regulations.
In the session, the instructor commented that this regulation is not new but an update, a 3rd version 6.3 of the 2016 which consists of the process audit. which in turn, the VDA and the IATF come first of all before international requirements to be able to fulfill the requirements of the automotive industry through the CSR’s.
When conducting audits, the VDA 6.3 is one of three categories: System audit, product audit and process audit, the latter being where the VDA is used 6.3. In that line, internal auditors must be able to master the quality tools they are going to audit, go CSR’s, know the relevant requirements of the IATF management system 16949:2016 and ISO 9001:2015, as well as being competent as an auditor according to the ISO Standard 19011:2018 in negotiation skills, conflict management and audit process. If the auditor does not comply with these powers, does not meet the requirements to perform the audit and risks putting the organization in trouble.
